Cycling Ireland’s Off-road Commission is hosting a recruitment day for riders aged 12 to 16 who are interested in being part of the Irish XC Youth Development Squad for 2013.
Jon Hynes is putting this squad together. For Ulster riders the most convenient date is on Sunday 27 January 2013 at Tolllymore Outdoor Centre. (map)
The purpose of the day is to inform riders of the selection criteria, go for a fun spin and for squad selectors to meet applicants.

Closing date for receipt of completed forms is Jan 31st 2013.
All details of the squad are not fully in place as funding negotiations are ongoing. Full details will be released early in 2013. It is likely there will be 4-6 places available per province.

Cycling Ulster’s Off-road Development Officer Lance McCarthy will also be there to recruit for Cycling Ulster’s Off-road Development Squad. Lance is interested in riders from age 12 to Junior.
