Course Description:
The venue and course layout offer interest to riders of all skill levels as the 3 mile course is a mix of single track, open grass land (plus hill!) and open trails. There will be a separate grass track for the Under 8s and Under 10s to race on. This is the perfect course for beginners of all ages and also ideal for the experienced riders as the course makes for an excellent open race circuit with plenty of places to pass other riders.

Located at the Craigavon Water Sports Centre off Lake Road which is off roundabout 3 on the main Portadown to Lurgan road. If leaving the M1 motorway come off at junction 10 and follow the signs for “Craigavon Centre” then look for the signs for the “Watersports Centre” at roundabout 3.

Ulster Championship medals
Championship medals will be awarded for the following races:
Elite men, Elite women, Espoirs, Junior men, Junior women, Veterans and Masters
Ulster medals will only be awarded to riders who satisfy the following criteria
(a) belong to a club based in Ulster, or
(b) are unattached but currently resident in Ulster
Criteria for winning championship medals
Championship medals will be awarded irrespective of the number of entrants in each category.

Race licences & one-day licences
To race in the championship categories (Elite men, Elite women, Espoirs, Junior men, Junior women, Veterans and Masters) riders must have a Restricted competition licence or a Full competition licence. Riders cannot take part in the championship category races using a (£18/€20) day licence. Riders wishing to compete in the championship categories who have a “club competition” licence can ‘upgrade’ their licence on the day (£9/€10).
Full day licences and upgrade licences (from non-competition and club competition) are available for non-championship categories.
Catering: As has been the tradition, Apollo CT will be providing some post-race food in the Watersports centre for after the race. Before and during the races the café in the centre will be open.
Additional information:
Craigavon Watersports Centre: offers excellent toilet and shower facilities on site and there is a café in the Centre. The trails are open to the public for cycling and, on the day before the race, the course will be marked out using yellow markers from about 3 pm onwards.
