Cycling Ulster Off Road Commission held a testing session in Tollymore Forest on Saturday 10 March 2018 for riders hoping to make the team for the British Cross-country first round.
Team Manger Simon Curry greeted the riders and gave them a brief of what was going to happen over the course of the morning.
In terrible conditions all riders showed great skills and ability in the slippy conditions under the eye of team coach Gareth McKee.
Different sections of Tollymore were selected and riders were timed on these sections. Timing was overseen by Lisa Millar and Dylan Lyness.
After the session all the riders were taken back to Tollymore Mountain centre. Showers and lunch were very welcome.
Simon Curry talked to the riders about the session and a brief oversight of what was expected from them if selected.
Cycling Ulster would like to thank all riders and volunteers for making the day run smoothly.
